New and Notable 10/18

New treats coming in hot this week and hitting the sweet spot with lots of tasty mid to high THC products for you!

Qwest Ice cream pre-roll

Qwest cannabis is “handcrafted from the seed up”. Small batch grown, hand-trimmed, and they only harvest the top cuts, ensuring a premium cannabis experience. Fun fact about their rolling papers, which these lovely pre-rolls are encased in:

Sourced from France – from a specialist mill that has been producing rolling paper for over 200 years in a village in the Pyrenees Mountains. The fineness of the paper is due to the quality of water in the area – the Pyrenees being known for its abundance of mineral springs. The paper is FSC-certified; it comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits to the communities.”

Top-quality and bears a social impact. We dig it. While Qwest is still in the process of switching all the papers over from the previous RAW papers, you can easily tell if your product is the new papers if your don't see the RAW brand.

Qwest Ice cream cake (or ice Qwest) has been on the market for a while now, but we always love when pre-rolls hit the shelves for convenience! It is a cross of Wedding Cake and Gelato 33, so while it has a creamy sweetness, you'll also notice pops of citrus. Dense and expertly cured, with beautiful trichomes on the bud!  This batch is coming in at 22%, so we know this one will be a hit with you guys!

Whistler Chocolope and Rockstar

BC Rockstar has an alluring scent so powerful, piney, and woody, it will transport you to the thick and verdant forests of the West Coast. Its earthy taste is so visceral, you'll feel the snap of dry twigs under your feet. This sticky bud is decorated with a carpet of glittering, frosted trichomes that almost obscure the smokey greens of the leaf underneath. Aptly named for its home province, Rockstar is a strain as dense as the thickest of British Columbia's wilderness.” If that didn’t give you all the feels, I don’t know what will. Another choice strain from Whistler, this pure indica has powerful relaxation qualities and hits hard. A true example of “indica – in da couch”.

Chocolope, on the other hand, is a sativa that could be compared to an “invigorating morning coffee”, an indulgent blend of rich, hot coffee and creamy, smooth chocolate, with just a hint of Triple Sec on the nose. That sounds like our perfect Saturday morning.

Canna farms blue dream

Canna Farms was the first LP in British Columbia to receive an MMPR/ACMPR/Cannabis Regulations license and delivers a quality range of hand-trimmed flowers. Canna Farms is 100% Canadian and family operated, and we source all of our supplies and raw materials from local businesses.

“Blue Dream”, which is also listed as “Blue Widow” through Canna Farms, is a cross between Blueberry and White Widow. Canna Farms’ Blue Dream varies from others in this sense, as traditionally, the genetics come from Blueberry and Super Haze.  The flowers are typically dense and coated in trichomes. This hybrid, while sativa leaning, offers the best of both worlds. The Indica properties will offer you a sense of deep relaxation and euphoria, while the Sativa side will help keep you feeling uplifted and positive in your day-to-day. The strong, fruity punch of the Blue Widow will likely help you kiss the ‘blues’ goodbye!
