Scott Morrow
President & CEO

Scott brings to FOUR20 over 30 years of experience in executive leadership and operations management from a number of complementary industries including an extensive background in retail, liquor and cannabis.

His career highlights include senior management roles with Shopper’s Drug Mart and Rexall as well as being the former COO of Alcanna (Formerly Liquor Stores North America). Most recently, held an executive role with AgMedica Bioscience Inc. a Licensed Producer in Canada. 

Scott is currently a Board Member of the Sinneave Family Foundation and the Centre for Autism Services Alberta.  He is also a former board member of the Alberta Liquor Store Association and served on the Advisory Committee to the CEO of the AGLC.  Scott is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Management degree.

 
 

Dr. Ife Abiola, B.Sc, MD
VP Advocacy & Education 

Dr. Ife Abiola attended the University of Lethbridge, where he focused on Ecology in the laboratory of Dr. Bill Cade with a focus on plant life and their interaction across organisms and their environment.

Abiola transitioned into medicine, completing his basic science, topical medicine and infectious disease observerships at the Spartan Health University School of Medicine and clinical rotations at Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago, IL. Part of Abiola’s studies while in Chicago was assisting patients in opioid recovery and understood cannabis as a treatment modality for pain. Abiola recognized that the cannabis industry lacked a fundamental understanding of cannabis in areas including safety, science, and objective based application.

 Dr. Abiola joined the 420 Clinic in 2016 and has become a recognized authority in the scientific and medical applications of cannabis. 

 
 

Kris Anderson
Director HR & Operations 

Kris Anderson brings an innovative approach to Human Resources, utilizing analytics, bringing new ideas and implementing technology to meet the ever-evolving requirements of the organization and the workforce.  He uses patience, empathy and honesty to support and motivate others.  Kris has over 15 years experience in consumer-packaged goods, starting with chocolate, moving to beer & liquor, and now working with cannabis.

He began his career with Ferrero Group Ltd, focused on establishing the Ferrero family of brands in the North American market.  This introduced him to all aspects of Human Resources as well as experience with logistics, commercial and manufacturing business units.  After 4 years with Ferrero, Kris took the opportunity with the world’s largest brewer, Anheuser-Busch/Labatt.  Leading the Western Commercial Region and Western Brewing Facilities for 10 years, he focused on strategy, people development, M&A integration and budget management.

In his role as People and Operations Director at FOUR20, Kris is focused on leading a strategic plan that is aligned with the core values, empowers & develops employees, prioritizes diversity & inclusion and ensures our culture is maintained with healthy growth.

 
 

 

Amber Craig
Chief Merchandising Officer 

Amber Craig has over 20 years of experience in the media and journalism industry. Prior to working at FOUR20, Amber ran a marketing company, working with over 100 companies on brand strategy. She has worked extensively in real estate and is a Co-Founder and Board Chair of an Alberta-based charity as well. Amber started working with 420 Clinic in 2013 as a marketing consultant and In September 2017, she joined the company full-time as the VP of Marketing. In 2020, she was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. 

In her current role as Chief Merchandising Officer, Amber oversees several aspects of the company including marketing, communications, supply chain, merchandising and store design. 

Amber also sits on the Mount Royal University Cannabis Education Advisory Committee and is the course developer and instructor for the first-ever cannabis retail marketing course in Canada, offered through MRU. In 2022, she was named one of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40.

 

 

Ryan Pernal, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

Ryan Pernal is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary. Prior to joining FOUR20 in 2018, Ryan spent 4 years working in the audit & assurance and accounting advisory groups at PricewaterhouseCoopers working with a variety of public and private clients across various industries, including key involvement in audit work over major M&A transactions. 

Ryan was drawn to the cannabis industry for the opportunity to embrace the challenge of helping to grow an organization in a dynamic industry that presents many unique challenges. As CFO at FOUR20, Ryan is responsible for all aspects of internal and external financial reporting, as well as providing advisement, analysis, and strategic input regarding financial strategy, financial planning and budgeting, capital strategy, and M&A activity.
