Places we love in YEG

Edmonton, we're coming for you!

We’re extremely excited to enter the Edmonton Community, with two stores opening in the Tamarack Community and Pembina (and of course, our Beaumont location).

Edmonton has loads of great eats, local entrepreneurs who are killing the game - and the river valley is pretty darn beautiful. Here’s our rundown of some of our favourite eats in Edmonton.

Good eats

We’ve got to say, Edmonton has some really great restaurants. Corso 32 is just one of the few, but it’s our top-contender for a beautiful meal out. Handmade, perfectly paired pastas are one of life’s true great comforts. Treat yourself. It’s totally worth it.

For brunch, Pip’s is a mainstay and must-visit.  Brought to you by The Next Act and MEAT family, PIP is an award-winning 28-seat restaurant. Brunch doesn’t need to be complicated and pip does really great classics (elevated for sure) and features plates for every taste.

And let’s talk about a classic. Fried chicken and delicious sauces…the perfect munchies. Seoul Fried Chicken delivers. There’s often a line-up, but it’s totally worth it. We don’t need to get into too much detail, we’ll let you experience it yourself!

For munching,

Doughnut party: Artisanal doughnuts with new flavours all the time. Like really, really good flavours. Cookie-beer? Astral Brownie with chunks of brownies on a doughnut! Check them out on Instagram for the most up-to-date flavours.

Jacks burger shack: A little bit off the beaten path, but well worth it if you crave a great burger. The meat is freshly ground in-house,

Zwicks Pretzels: Everything from your favourite classic savoury or sweet pretzels, to pretzel hotdogs or sandwiches on pretzel buns. Salty, doughy goodness.

Lock stock coffee: Right in the heart of downtown, Lock Stock Café was voted Avenue’s Top for their fresh roasted beans, delicious baked goods and sandwiches and cozy industrial atmosphere.

Now we know we’re barely scratching the surface here, but these are some of our must-visits. Our Edmonton launch only opens the door to try more amazing new spots! Come visit us at our new Tamarack location, opening March 16th. Pembina details will be announced soon!
