So many things to love.

This location is a little off the beaten path, but still full of energy and hidden gems. With one-third of Calgary’s workforce in the area daily, there’s no shortage of action. It’s a little untraditional, but full of surprises and hustle, which is pretty on brand for us. Here are some of our favourite spots by our Foothills Industrial location!

The Flying Squirrel

An urban playground for the adrenaline junkie. The Flying Squirrel elicits excitement the second you step foot in their facilities and brings out your inner child. The Foothills location is brand new and boasts dunk hoops, a trampoline-dodgeball court, freestyle trampolines, climbing walls and massive foam pits. Whether you’re an avid athlete or a clumsy fool looking for a good time, The Flying Squirrel has everything you need for a good time.

The Locked Room

One of three Calgary locations, The Locked Room is an immersive adventure experience, perfect for a unique night out with friends. With puzzles that test your logic, investigation skills and physical abilities, there’s something for everyone.  Are you up for the challenge?

Wonton King

We’ve really lucked out with the food locations that are just walking steps from us. Coincidence or pure strategy…we’ll let you decide.  The Wonton King lives up to its infamous name – Get there early, because of the crowd’s line-up in droves for these delicious wontons and mouth-watering broth. They serve up to 250 bowls per day in this location alone!

Best of Seven – Vagabond seven

Let’s just start with our love of Airstream trailers, so Vagabond Seven already had us there. The portable barber shop is the latest member of Best of Seven barbers. While Vagabond is popping up all over the city, they can normally be found right in Brewster’s parking during the summer months so you can get a quick freshen up in the middle of your hectic day. Who says pampering is just for the ladies? Offering premium services in a convenient way, we can’t get enough of this enterprise.

Paper & Ink Boutique

This little boutique is owned by a lovely couple who make coming in feel like coming home. Stocked with all your papercraft needs and sourcing as many products as possible from local vendors, you can easily get lost in here (in the best way possible). Paper & Ink also hosts classes to make sure your paper craft game is on fleek. We love a good hobby shop. Let your creative minds run wild.

Brewsters

“In beer we trust”. Yes, yes we do. The Alberta-based brewers are a staple across the province after opening in 1989, way before craft beer was the trend it is today.  With creative craft brews and a beer-infused menu, happiness comes in the form of a cold beer and a full belly.
